| "The Beer Song" question | March 17, 2008 @ 11:38pm | I called in to a college radio station today doing an 18 hour marathon of Irish songs, and I can't seem to find the song they played for me. I was hoping someone on here would have a clue as to the artist.
The DJ simply called it "The Beer Song," and it was a parody of the "Do Re Mi" scales song. You know the one, that starts off: Do, a deer, a female deer.
Anyway, the Irish/Beer lyrics went:
Do, the thing that buys me beer Re, the guy who serves me beer Mi, the one who drinks my beer Fa, the distance to the John So, I'll have another beer La-ger, lager lager beer Ti, no thanks I'll have a beer
and so on. It was pretty funny I thought, and was hoping to download it. Anyone have a clue? |
