Top Ten Halloween Beers Brewed in the USA for 2014

Best Halloween Beers brewed in the United States

1. Three Floyds Zombie Dust - This intensely hopped and gushing undead pale ale will be one's only respite after the zombie apocalypse. Formerly known as Cenotaph: A medium bodied single hop beer showcasing Citra hops from the Yakima Valley, USA.  Created with our marvelous friends in the comic industry. Art by Tim Seeley. 60 IBU. 6.40% ABV.

2. Great Lakes Nosferatu - Often referred to as Burning River Pale Ale’s big brother, this stock ale is remarkably balanced for such a highly hopped beer. A rich deep blood red color makes this beer scary enough to be served every Halloween and a few other times of the year.

3. Alesmith's Evil Dead Red
- Halloween is time for our annual Evil Dead Red specialty brew. Vivid mahogany color, good head formation and retention. Rich, chewy, toasty, malty flavors perfectly balanced by a moderate hoppy bitterness. The aroma starts with a pleasant hop aroma followed by a nice malty sweetness. Well-rounded and well-balanced. Smooth, medium-bodied. Lush and rich on the palate with a semi-dry finish.

4. Southern Tier Warlock - Imperial stout brewed with pumpkins Warlock is brewed to enchant your palate on its own and also to counterpoint our Imperial Ale, Pumking. Make your own black magic by carefully pouring this Imperial Stout into a goblet. Dark and mysterious, the Blackwater Series is serious about high gravity. Reanimate your senses with Warlock’s huge roasted malt character, moderate carbonation and spicy pumpkin pie aroma.

5. Rogue Dead Guy - In the style of a German Maibock, brewed using our proprietary Pacman yeast, Dead Guy Ale is deep honey in color with a malty aroma, rich hearty flavor and a well balanced finish. This beer uses four different malts:Northwest Harrington, Klages, Maier Munich and Carastan. And it uses Perle and Saaz hops. 40 IBU 6.50% ABV.

6. Elysian Night Owl - This ale is brewed with 150 lbs. of pumpkin in each batch. Made with Pale, Munich and Crystal malts green and roasted pumpkin seeds, pumpkin in the mash, boil and fermenter. Bittered with Horizon hops. Spiced in conditioning with nutmeg, clove, cinnamon, ginger and allspice.

7. Undead Party Crasher - This Imperial Stout is brewed by Clown Shoes Beer. In a world full of uncertainty, hardship, and people trying to hold us back, do we need the undead and trademark attorneys too? Clown Shoes says, "No, die, monsters, die!" Forces of darkness brought about a change in the name of this beer, which was released to celebrate our second anniversary, but it still sports signature dark malts, holy water, and malt smoked locally with hickory and ash. 11.00% ABV.

8. DuClaw Brimstone - This full-bodied rye ale is built on equal measures of smoky roasted malt and sizzling hop bitterness, accentuated by glowing embers of warm bread, dark fruit esters, and a dry, spicy rye character that smolders from your first sip to its long, lingering finish. Pop the top and relish in our...INFERNAL RYE!

9. Lost Abbey - Deliverance - Lost Abbey's first release of the embodiment of good versus evil in a barrel-aged blend. Part bourbon barreled The Serpent’s Stout, and part brandy barreled The Angel’s Share, this is our most anticipated release of the summer.

10. Midnight Sun's T.R.E.A.T. - Intriguing doses of sweet spices, cocoa nibs and pumpkin transform an exceptional porter into a mesmerizing potion. Pour this tantalizing brew into a snifter and experience its many eccentric nuances, which will delight your taste buds. This is the same award-winning recipe that garnered a GOLD MEDAL at GABF in 2007. Formerly known simply as Imperial Chocolate Pumpkin Porter, we’ve named it T.R.E.A.T.: The Royal Eccentric Ale Treatment.he Great Lakes Brewing Company's Christmas Ale is a repeat World Beer Championship Gold Medal winner. The full-bodied, spirited beer is copper in color and has a combination of cinnamon, fresh ginger, and sweet honey tones. Christmas Ale is crafted from American two-row wheat, roasted barley, and English crystal hops, among other ingredients and is designed to complement most holiday meals.
