Think globally, drink locally.
Those words rang true last week when Snake River Brewing came back from Chicago
from the 8th bi-annual World Beer Cup with THREE medals for brewing excellence.
The World Beer Cup is the LARGEST beer event ever, where 642 breweries from 44
countries around the world entered 3,330 beers for the chance to win gold,
silver and bronze medals in 90 categories.
"It's the Olympics of beer" states SRB Brew Master, Cory Buenning. "Every other
year in a different locale, we get the opportunity to put our Jackson Hole brews
up against classic beers from around the world and often times from their places
of particular origin. For instance, competing against breweries from Germany and
winning a gold medal for our Berliner Weisse...a beer that was made famous by
German brewers, really shows how American brewers have become some of the most
creative artisans of craft-beer in the world."
Snake River Brewing Won Awards
For The Following Three Beers:
1. GOLD MEDAL - Berliner Weisse
German-Style Sour Ale
2. SILVER MEDAL - Zonker Stout

Snake River Brewing now has 15 World Beer Cup awards in its eight year history.

Congratulations to the "Brew-Crew" at Snake River Brewing Company and be sure to
consider that the next time you sit down with one of their craft-brews, you're
drinking some of the best beer in the world.
