This event will take place at Oceanside Ale Works, Saturday, May 26th from 11am – 4pm., 3800 Oceanic Drive, Suite #105 in Oceanside. At this event, Oceanside Ale Works will debut two of its newest ales: Missionary Mai Bock and Elevation 83 Pale. Other beers will be on tap for this special event. In addition to the Mai Bock and Elevation 83 Pale, we will also serve our 43 Below IPA, Pier View Pale Ale, San Luis Rey Red, the American Strong Ale and the Buccaneer Honey Blonde Ale. Oceanside Ale Works is open to the public for tastings on Fridays 3:00pm -7:00pm and Saturdays 12:00 – 4:00pm. Our friends at Ps & Qs Pub will continue the celebration of Oceanside Ale Work’s first anniversary immediately following our event. Ps & Qs Pub is located at 1910 Oceanside Blvd, Ste F, in Oceanside.

Local Teacher and Firefighter Founded Oceanside's First Brewery
Oceanside Ale Works is a small dream of two local Oceanside residents that began brewing together as a hobby. Mark Purciel, a teacher of mathematics, and Scott Thomas, a local firefighter quickly discovered that they both had a passion for micro-brewing beer. Eight years and much experimentation later, that passion has culminated in the establishment of Oceanside Ale Works, which currently has six beers on tap. Local beer lovers will particularly enjoy Pier View Pale and San Luis Rey Red, both named for prominent Oceanside landmarks.
Oceanside Ale Works is one of the few manual brew houses in the USA. Oceanside Ale Works is a small microbrewery located in the heart of Oceanside (3800 Oceanic Drive, Suite 105). All beer is manufactured at this location. The tasting room is open Fridays 3-7pm and Saturdays 12-4. Beer tasting, 64oz growlers (Beer to go), kegs, and brewery merchandise (Tap handles, T-shirts, pint glasses, taster glasses, and growlers) can be purchased in the tasting room.
