H³ (Tripel H) Trippel brewed by Port Jeff Brewing Company on Long Island, New York
H) was inspired by Westmalle Tripel, Victory Brewing Company Golden
Monkey, and our head brewer's (Jeff Noakes) irrefutable resemblance
to former thirteen-time WWE world champion, Triple H. H³ (or Tripel
H) is a gold-hued, Belgian-style tripel created with an authentic
Trappist yeast strain. Expect sweet, fruit-filled aromas and a dry
finish. Do not expect to possess the ability to perform wrestling
manuevers following consumption. Malts: Pilsen, Aromatic, Victory.
Hops: Tettnang, Fuggle. IBUs: 28. ABV: 10.1%.
H³ (Tripel H) Review from Beer Advocate
Appearance: Pours heavily hazed, darker apricot, moderate off white head, that
does not stay for long. Leaves some low sheeting and just a bit of fine lacing.
Aroma: The nose is fruity, with a wiff of yeast.
Taste: Flavorful take on the style with more tropical fruit notes, some pepper,
bubble gum and again yeast. Quite dry, with more pepper, some lime and ample
hops in the finish.
Mouthfeel: On the lower side carbonationwise for the style.
Overall: Fruity sweet balanced by the citric and hoppy finish. Nice job here by
another emerging and quality Long Island brewery. Well worth a try.

Mike Philbrick is a Port Jefferson resident who homebrewed for almost a decade
prior to graduating from The World Brewing Academy at Siebel Institute in
Chicago. His passion for craft beer led him to bring Port Jefferson their own
brewery to showcase his recipes in the popular tourist town and beyond. When not
brewing Mike enjoys time with his wife, three children, and dog, Buddy, either
boating or going to the beach.
