Schell's Brewing rolls out 1 millionth case of beer for the year(Dec. 16) - Minnesota - They had a barrel of fun at the August Schell Brewing Co. on Wednesday, rolling out its 1 millionth case of beer produced this year, the first time the family-owned brewery has hit that mark in its 147-year history. Wins Coveted Orchids & Onions "Peoples Choice" Award(Dec. 16) - California - San Diegans have now had one full year to ooh and ahh at the fabulous atmosphere and architecture while dining and/or quaffing at the Stone World Bistro & Gardens. Complete Story Coffee, beer merge with Terrapin's'Wake-n-Bake'(Dec. 15) - Georgia - In a college town where both coffee and beer are revered by many students, the seemingly unattainable combination of the two causes a celebration. For Athens-based enterprises Terrapin Beer Co. and Jittery Joe's Coffee, the two have mixed to release their very own "Wake-n-Bake Coffee Oatmeal Imperial Stout." Sam Adams Utopias outclasses cognac, port in Phoenix taste test(Dec. 14) - Boston - It's a thick, rich elixir which is best appreciated in small tastings -- and that's a good thing, because with the 2007 bottling coming in at 27% alcohol by volume, it'd really mess you up if you drank a couple pints.
