The Montreal Beer Festival(June) - Montreal, Quebec - This festival attracts 50,000 beer enthusiest to its outdoor island setting in the old port of Montreal on the St. Lawrence River. The festival serves about 300 different types of beer. Its mission: "To restore beer to its rightful and noble place, by offering the general public the opportunity to taste beer from five continents, while encouraging responsible consumption."

Toronto's Festival of Beer (August)  - Toronto, ON - This Festival is a celebration of Canada's rich brewing history, hosted by experts of the brewing craft from around the country. Featuring more than 200 brands of beer on-site, this is Canada’s premier celebration of the golden beverage, complete with real southern BBQ, live entertainment, grilling demonstrations by TV personalities and of course BEER. Meet new people, try new brews and raise a glass to toast this Toronto tradition.

The Great Canadian Beer Festival(September) - Victoria, BC - This  Great Canadian Beer Festival is the largest micro-brewey festival in Canada. Now in its 15th year, the Great Canadian Beer Festival offers over 40 breweries from across Canada and the Pacific Northwest.

Calgary Beer Festival(June) - The event runs Friday, June 8th, 4 - 11pm & Saturday, June 9th, 2 - 10pm at the Big 4 Building on Stampede Park. Tickets are $15 in advance and $20 at the door.  To go along with the over 40 beer agencies/breweries and over 100 beers, there is live music, interactive entertainment, door prizes, concert ticket contesting, and a lot more.  First 1000 people through the door each day recieve a commemorative glass.  Once you've sampled you can vote for the 'People's Choice' beer.
