Sweetwater LowRYEder IPA brewed by SweetWater Brewing Company

LowRYEder IPA brewed by SweetWater Brewing Company - Atlanta, Georgia

SweetWater guarantees that LowRYEder IPA will make that booty hop as itís ignited with a 25% shot of rye malt and dry-hopped with Centennial and Mt. Hood hops to give this one a little extra bounce. With 6.2% ABV and 45 IBUs, this LowRYEder gets a little higher. In 2013, this IPA won the gold medal for Rye beers at the Great American Beer Festival.

Beer Review by Beer Advocate
The LowRyeder from SweetWater is very good and smooth. The beer pours a clear light copper with thin white head that is leaving a spotty lace. The scent carries fresh hop with hints of pine and bitter citrus. The taste is a great balance between sweet malt and bitter hop which finishes dry. The hops add a citrus flare with a touch of pine. The mouthfeel is lighter in body and good carbonation. Overall this is a great session beer for those that prefer a slightly bitter and dry beer...definitely worth a try.
