Monk's Indiscretion is brewed by Sound Brewery - Poulsbo, Washington
Monk's Indiscretion is dry hopped, and fermented with an aromatic Belgian
yeast strain. This brew has an intense tropical hoppy aroma and flavor, with
balanced bitterness, and is scarily drinkable for such a strong beer. In
2011, it won a gold medal in the specialty beer category at the U.S. Open
Beer Championship. 10% ABV, 46 IBUs.

Beer Review by Beer Advocate
Poured into a Gulden Draak tulip. Pours a medium orange amber. Nice white
two finger head with lacing. Active carbonation kept the head looking great.
Very attractive. Aroma of citrus hops, sweet malt. Flavor of unidentifiable
fruit, nice estery components, light citrus, well integrated. Bitter
cardomom tripel finish. Medium bodied. Unusual and nicely done. This was an
interesting take on a tripel, properly spiced and Belgian yeast, but the the
flavor is hard to describe, but held together well. Nice job.
Sound Brewery
Sound Brewery is the dream project realized for five like-minded individuals
with a common goal: To make and distribute the types of beers that we've been
buying, searching for, imagining, brewing and enjoying for decades. We're
brewers and enthusiasts, creatives, engineers and business people, working
together to build a brewery that lets us express ourselves by making the beers
that we think other enthusiasts will appreciate.
