Sisters of the Moon India Pale Ale brewed by Mother Earth Brewing - Kinston, North Carolina
Sisters of the Moon India Pale Ale is made with hops grown in the good 'ol
USA. You will be supporting American farmers when you drink this
beer! Light copper in color, it has an intense hop aroma and strong hop
bitterness. Our hopback process uses fresh hop cones to take this IPA to
unexpected places. Prepare for a mouthful of flavor. This IPA goes great
with blackened Tuna, buffalo wings, soy-based dishes, pizza, and vintage
cheddar.
Beer Review by Beer Advocate:
Out of the bottle a simple nice solid foamy white cap of about three fingers,
which settles on a simple cloudy pale amber yellow a little hazy and cloudy.
Kind of suspended in animation beer looking and frozen. However, lots of good
sticky lacing is all over the glass.
Bouquet is orange wetness, and light bread. Aromatic light citrus, almost kind
of powdery drink in a sense. Very nice and pleasant, little bit of pine hop
also.
Taste is a big surprise. Sweet caramel sweetness and toffee mixed with a strong
hop pine. Citrus notes come out in the finish and coat the throat. Very sweet,
and a little sugary syrup like in feel but not too bad still very tolerable.
Great lingering hop feel.
WOW I am shocked how good this beer was these guys did a fantastic job. It is a
little sweet though so that may put people off but I love this caramel bent and
toffee sense it's real unexpected with the hop punch..
Mother Earth Brewing
A name like Mother Earth Brewing demands that a ribbon of green run through
every aspect of our company. Owners Stephen Hill and Trent Mooring say it was
easy to build a first-rate brewery while staying true to their name. Mooring
explains, "Being green can be easy, and making simple, educated product
decisions during our design phase was critical to our overall objective of a
low-impact brewery." He adds that "research and education will continue to be
key elements" in deciding what green technologies to implement in the future.
