Inspiration Ale brewed by the Community Beer Company in Dallas, Texas

The Story of Inspiration Ale brewed by the Community Beer Company in Dallas, Texas

The quest to create Community Beer Company led the founders to evaluate many location around Dallas for nearly two years before selecting our home on Inspiration Drive, near downtown on Stemmons Freeway. What a street name for our dream brewery to be built!!

Without inspiration, the founders wouldn’t be here to enrich their local community with world-class craft beer. In honor of all things inspirational, they offer this very special Belgian Style Dark Strong Ale. The deep ruby hue of this ale comes from the use of several English and Belgian crystal malts as well as a touch of roasted malt. The rich malt character is balanced by a high ABV, a blend of highly attenuative and expressive Belgian yeast strains, and just the right amount of hops.

Beer Review by Beer Advocate
Pours with a short, cream colored head over a very cloudy, amber-to-brown body. Head hangs out as a skim film forever, and really nice, sugary/sticky lacing.

Aromas are fresh and bright for the style. Picking up plenty of raisin, spices, molasses, yeast, and even lime tangy-ness.

Flavor is awesome and complex, as this style should be. Lots of sweetness dominates, but doesn't take over thanks to the cut of the hops and yeast (think tree fruits like lemon/lime). Breadiness / yeastiness plays a huge role in the middle, along with a kiss of cocoa powder. Lots of Vermont maple syrup in the finish. Mouthfeel starts full of effervescence and is almost sharp/tangy, but the finish is leaves a bit of thickness / cloy.

Can't believe this beer was produced in TX. I only hope the people here can appreciate the sick skill that went into this, and support this killer new brewery which had the balls to produce a Belgian Strong Dark Ale in Dallas.

Community Beer Company Brewery
Community Beer Company's state-of-the-art brewery is centrally located near downtown Dallas. It sits right on Stemmons Freeway, across from the American Airlines Center and on the edge of the Design District. The brewery itself is powered with a Newlands 4-vessel brewhouse. The fermenters are also made by Newlands, one of the premier manufacturers of brewery equipment in the world.

A main component of our brewing process invovles our own in-house yeast lab, where we manage our own yeast to ensure the highest quality.

The founders wanted a central location so that they could be an integral part of the Dallas-Ft. Worth community. Many events will be offered at the brewery including tours, music and art shows, charitable events, Beer School, pre-AAC events, sporting activities, and more.
