Big Beers, Belgians & Barleywines Beer Festival
- Vail, CO, January 8-10 Events include a homebrew competition Friday afternoon; a brewmasters' dinner Friday evening; an Experimental Brewing Seminar with some of the nation's leading brewers Saturday morning (new this year); and a public tasting session with more than 125 beers Saturday afternoon.
Great Alaska Beer & Barleywine Festival

Asheville Winter Warmer Beer Festival
- Asheville, NC - January 24
New venue this year; beer from local microbreweries, food from a local
caterer, and live music (bands TBA; part of the proceeds go to the area’s
RiverLink program.
Brewers of Indiana Guild Winterfest
- Indianapolis, IN - January 24
Inaugural event; more than 150 beers from 25 Indiana breweries and a number
of out-of-state breweries; cask-conditioned table, with 16 firkins;
Indiana's ReplicAle, a 70-shilling Scottish Ale aged in Jack Daniels
barrels; food, music, and games.
Jupiter Craft Brewers Festival -
Jupiter, FL - January 24
Beer from south Florida and national breweries, with a number of new
breweries this year; food from local restaurants and live music; a portion
of the proceeds go to local charities.
World Beer Festival
- Columbia, SC - January 24
Inaugural event in Columbia; two tasting sessions; a wide range of beer from
local, national, and international breweries; food and live entertainment

and Columbia Opportunity Resource.
Micro Brew Review and Cool Dog Ball
- Helena, MT - January 30
Fifteenth annual event; evening tasting session, ending at midnight; more
than 30 Montana- and Northwest-brewed beers, as well as wines; appetizers
and a variety of entrees; live music by Mississippi Heat.
Atlanta Cask Ale Tasting
- Atlanta, GA, January 31 Fifteen cask-conditioned ales from homebrewers and local microbreweries; live Celtic music; free pint glass to take home; tours of Sweetwater's tasting room and brewery. This event is sold out.
