Winterfest - Lafayette Hill, PA - Week of February 1
Strong beers from the regional microbreweries; food will be served; limited-availability brewers' post-party. This event is likely to sell out.

 
San Francisco Beer Week - San Francisco, CA -
February 6-15
SF BEER WEEK will be a ten-day celebration of that legacy, showcasing the Bay Area's brewing heritage with as many as 150 events. The week will be anchored by the Bistro Double IPA Festival, the Toronado Barleywine Festival and will end with a bang at the Celebrator's Best of the West Beer Fest. In between there will be beer dinners, cheese and beer pairing events, other gourmet food events savoring our world-class cuisine, meet the brewer evenings, homebrewing demonstrations, music, films, and even a museum exhibition exploring the history of Bay Area brewing, from Monterey to Sacramento and beyond.
 
Festiv-Ale - Regina, SK, Canada - February 6-7
More than 300 beers; live music, singing, and dancing; a variety of food; Festiv-Ale store; blackjack dealers in the VIP Lounge; Legion Color Party Parade, with pipers.
 

KLCC Microbrew Festival 2009 - Eugene, OR - February 6-7
Microbrewed beer from all over the West; collaboration brew and homebrew competition; live music; record and CD sale.

 
Minnesota Craft Brewer's Guild Winterfest - St. Paul, MN - February 6
An intimate festival, which typically sells out quickly, featuring "big" beers to ward off the winter cold, live music, and appetizers; "Best of the Fest" Award, as chosen by festival-goers. This event is sold out.

North Country MicroBrew Festival - Glen Falls, NY - February 7

Lagunitas Beer Circus - San Francisco, CA - February 8
Wanna watch a bearded lady drink a delicious craft beer while doing a handstand on a two-headed horse on a tightrope? We can’t say for sure, but this, and other far stranger things may occur at the SF BeerWeek’s only Beer Circus hosted at The Lagunitas Brewing Company in Petaluma, Sunday, February 8th from 12-noon till dusk.


A Night of Ales Beer - San Francisco - February 12

 
Max's Taphouse Belgian Beer Festival - Baltimore, MD - February 13-15
Three days of beer; last year's festival offered more than 60 Belgian and domestic Belgian-style beers on draft and another 120 beers in bottles, and a full Belgian-style food menu. More details of this year's festival will be posted on Max's website.

 
Confluence Wine, Beer, Seafood and Music Festival - Gardiner, OR – Feb. 14
Beverages from area breweries and wineries; craft and food vendors; entertainment, including seven bands and solo acts; chef demonstration; free shuttle bus between Gardiner, Reedsport, and Winchester Bay.

 
BEER EXPO - Chicago, IL - February 19
Taste over 75 fantastic beers from the top brewers in the U.S. and around the world! Extreme Beer Fest - Boston, MA - February 20-21
Sixth annual event: Friday, "Night of the Barrels," featuring wood-aged beers, guest speakers, and snacks; Saturday, two tasting sessions with distinctive American craft-brewed beer.

 
Bock Fest 2008 - New Ulm, MN - February 21
New Ulm's Fasching celebration, with Bock beer, music, grilled bratwurst and other food, and the traditional "Bock Hunt"; museum and gift shop will be open.

 
Food & Froth Fest - Milwaukee, WI - February 21
Tenth annual event; last year's festival featured more than 200 beers from Midwest and international breweries, including special creations and seasonal beers; food and live music; a raffle; and exhibits in museum's Brewing Heritage Hall.

BARLEY WINE AND STRONG ALE TASTING - Chicago - February 26
Taste some of the season's most popular Barley Wine and Strong Ales from the U.S. and around the world. As a special treat we will feature a side by side tasting of multiple vintages of select beers. Arizona Craft Brewers Guild Strong Beer Festival - Mesa, AZ - February 28
Strong beers and a variety of other styles brewed in Arizona and other Western states; food vendors and live entertainment.

 
Beats Brews and BBQ - Philadelphia, PA - February 28
Beer from 30 local and regional breweries (to be announced on the festival website), as well as other beverages; food, including Tommy Gunn's American Barbeque; live music; beer seminars; homebrew shops; VIP tickets, with early admission and access to limited-edition specialty beers.


Michigan Brewers Guild Winter Beer Festival - Grand Rapids, MI - February 28
New city and larger venue this year; a celebration of Michigan-brewed barrel-aged, cask, and "big" beers; hot food and live music; the festival will be held outdoors, "snow, rain or shine."
