The Beerfest - Santa Rosa, CA - June 2 Beer from more than 35 northern California microbreweries; a variety of food from local stores and restaurants; live music and dancing; "People's Choice" ballot for best food and beer of the festival. Blues 'n Brews - Fayetteville, NC - June 2 Outdoor venue; more than 50 different beers and a blues music by area bands; food and non-alcoholic beverages; children's activities for children.City Pages Beer Festival - Minneapolis, MN - June 2 Fifteenth annual event, making it one of the longest-running beer festivals in the Midwest; outdoor venue; a variety of domestic and imported beers ; live musical entertainment; a portion of the proceeds benefit the St. Paul Jaycees. International Beer Tasting - New Orleans, LA - June 2 Generations Hall (Warehouse District), New Orleans, LA Highlights: More than 150 foreign and domestic beers, including homebrews. Mountain Brewers' Beer Fest - Idaho Falls, ID - June 2 Hundreds of different beers from more than 80 breweries, most of them from the West; live music; food court; proceeds benefit local charities. Pennsylvania Microbrewer's Fest - Pittsburgh, PA - June 2 Beer from Pennsylvania and East Coast microbreweries, with owners on hand; three 3-hour tasting sessions, each with its own live music (Dixieland, Caribbean, and blues); a meal of sandwiches and salads Sasquatch Brew Fest - Eugene, OR - June 2 Fifth annual event, featuring over 60 beers from more than 40 breweries; live music, food, silent auction and raffle; beer dinner in conjunction with the festival. Calgary Beerfest - Calgary, AB - June 8-9 New, larger venue this year; hundreds of beers from around the world, plus coolers and ciders; "People's Choice Award" voting; food from Calgary restaurants; presentations by beer experts; live music and other entertainment and games; prizes; passes to after-even parties in Calgary. Edmonton Festival of Beer - Edmonton, AB - June 8-9 Highlights: Inaugural event; "a celebration of summer drinks and food; festival beer garden. St. Louis Microfest - St. Louis, MO - June 8-9 More than 50 beers, food from local restaurants, live music, and improved VIP area; preview parties, including the Microbrewery Bus Bash and Brew Dinner events. New this year: brewer's Tent featuring brewmaking techniques and discussion, and "cooking with brew" demonstrations. AleFest Columbus - Columbus, OH - June 9 More than 200 beers, including cask selections, from more than 50 world-class breweries; beer wearables and memorabilia on sale; raffle and silent auction; food available.Beer Barons' World of Beer Festival - Menomonee Falls, WI - June 9 New, indoor and outdoor facility; more than 200 beers from over 80 breweries; presentations on beer by professionals in the industry; homebrewing discussion and samples; food available; a portion of the proceeds benefits the Museum of Beer and Brewing. The Brew Ha Ha - Adamstown, PA - June 9-10 "A beer festival combined with a Big Boys' toy show," featuring comedy, music, food, prizes and games, and vendors.
Great Northern Beer Festival - Eagle River, WI - June 9 Beer from more than 20 breweries, most of them from Wisconsin; Eagle River Homebrewers Exhibition. Rocky Mountain Brew Fest - Estes Park, CO - June 9 Beer from more than 15 Colorado microbreweries, served at more than 7,500 feet above sea level; live music.
Bear Creek Brew Fest - Resort, Macungie, PA - June 10 Beer from area microbreweries, live music, beer-related seminars, and food available for purchase.
American Beer Fest - Boston, MA - June 15-16 "Night of the Lagers" on Friday, with 100 percent lager-style beers, special guest panelists, and snacks (attendance limited to 600); two tasting sessions Saturday, with more than 125 American beers from over 35 breweries, special guest panelists, and snacks.
Wyoming Brewer's Festival - Cheyenne, WY - June 15-16 Taster's party Friday evening, featuring beer, food from local restaurants, and live music; brewer's fest Saturday evening, with beer and food. Washington Brewers Festival - Kenmore, WA - June 23 "The mother of all Father's Day festivals," offering more than 150 Washington-brewed craft beers, including seasonals and hard-to-find beers; live music, featuring local acts; family entertainment, including the Brewers Keg Toss Contest, children's activities, and root beers and sodas from local breweries.
National Homebrewers Conference - Denver, CO - June 21-23 A fun, educational gathering designed to enhance homebrewers' brewing skills and to increase homebrewing camaraderie; conference features special seminars and events aimed at amateur brewers and beer enthusiasts of every level. Blues and Brews - Visalia, CA - June 23 A variety of beers, wines, and ciders, with live blues music. Additional details will be posted on the festival website. Indy’s original microbrew festival"; beer from more than 20 breweries and other suppliers; food and live music. Historic downtown setting; beer from more than 40 Colorado breweries, including five from the Fort Collins area; food and live entertainment. Beer from 16 New Jersey craft breweries, poured in a family-friendly environment; admission includes tour of the battleship. Three tasting sessions, "under the big top," with more than 100 European beers to sample; food and live music. Olde New England Day Brewfest - North Woodstock, NH - June 23 Beer from all of New Hampshire's microbreweries as well as beer from around the country, plus live music from two of New England's finest country bands; event is part of North Woodstock's "Splash into Summer" Weekend.
Seattle International Beer Festival - Seattle, WA - June 23 Outdoor venue, with beer garden atmosphere; more than 100 beers, including hard-to-find styles, from 15 countries; food available. Bell Tower Brewfest - Downtown Placerville, CA - June 30 More than 30 microbrewed beers, served on closed-off downtown streets; entertainment by a variety of live bands. Tickets are limited and expected to sell out in advance.
